Maurice Lemaître’s sister has for 50 years been chasing any institution or place where Lemaître or the Lettrists should be present. Her portrait has been painted by Alain Satié, and of course by Maurice Lemaître. Christiane also herself created in 1984 the film: “The witness, or the shy hope”. She co-signed with Lemaître the “Christiane Catalogue”, a supertemporal bibliography of the Lettrist movement, and created a few other works, including the one you could find in the “UR4bis” box that was recently shown at the Lettrist retrospective of Passage de Retz in Paris in 2012.
