David Aylward, a purist among North American Concretins, lives and writes in Toronto where he coedits Ganglia Press & GrOnk. His typescapes stand in a class of their own as a statement of the inherent visuality of language & the levels of meaning this implies. He was born in Surrey, England in 1942, resident in Toronto since the age of 4 and Typescapes is his first published book.
