Pieces from the Cloudland Ballroom is one part of a trilogy of minimalist works written while Moore was living in Germany. It documents another crucial connection between the increasingly blurred experimental rock and avant-garde composition scenes happening in Germany at the time. Anthony Moore is a British experimental music composer, performer and producer. He was a founding member of the band Slapp Happy, has worked with Henry Cow and has made a number of solo albums.
