Emego 211 (year unknown) The Emego files were made to confuse the electronic music archivists/collectors. They were a release that changed form, size, length and media, ending up pissing up everyone, including the record label Editions Mego/Peter Rehberg. During the release, Goodiepal confronted Rehberg with a number of obstacles and requests - such as the exclusive distribution through a kiosk in Copenhagen and a Pizza parlor in Vienna. When Rehberg uploaded the audio files to Bandcamp, Goodiepal had all audio files competitively uploaded to Wikipedia's article on Goodiepal. In addition, a friend wrote a magazine review of the record which resulted in the Wikipedia article referencing the magazine review as an original source while the magazine article referenced both the label and Wikipedia as the original source. While this was in compliance with Wikipedia's editorial policy of only publishing information that has other original sources, Wikipedia's editors nevertheless intervened, cleaning up and thus destroying the article when they realized that their encyclopedia had been used for a record release. Peter Rehberg never saw the records, and the Bandcamp page was closed down. As for the pizza parlor, you have to visit it in order to see whether it still has copies left. In the meantime, people have also produced bootlegs of the record and sold them at the pizza parlor and elsewhere. Today, neither Edition Mego, Discogs or Wikipedia want to have anything to do with the release.
