A thorougher brain-reconfiguration dealt at the hands of French musique concrète deity Francois Bayle, cooked up the Parisian electro-acoustic research centre in the late 1970s. The first in a string of releases for the INA-GRM label that would ultimately CHANGE LIVES (ur humble narrator included), Bayle's quantum-level investigations into the fundamental principles of acoustic sound combined with his unpredictable collage-like delivery and acute ear for the multiple frequencial relationships within a vast sound picture ensure that's there's always more to discover and map out each time round. Occupying the antipode to the stuffier avant-classical end of the concrète spectrum, the jangling, abstracted array of sounds hits u like a tidal wide, leaving you gasping for air whilst being drenched from all angles by the purist sound conjured up from the widest reaches of the acoustic spectrum. Real god molecule stuff! Lifejackets at the ready!!
