UbuWeb | UbuWeb Papers Material Poetry of the Renaissance/ The Renaissance of Material Poetry: A Selective Bibliography Roland Greene & Harvard Students from The Harvard Library Bulletin, Summer 1992, Vol. 3, No. 2 This list indicates editions and facsimiles of primary texts, criticism, history, background
materials, and other texts relevant to the exhibition. Far from exhaustive, the bibliography identifies sources
of particular interest for each rubric below. While the earliest items listed date from the late
nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, most appeared in the last generation or so and belong to the
recent wave of attention directed to the material aspects of literary texts. Some titles, for instance
collections of essays containing several useful texts, are listed under only the heading about which
they have most to say, and may be consulted more broadly than the list indicates. The notes of the
essays in this issue of the Bulletin provide further and more particular references, and should be treated
as supplements to the list below.
