Any national tragedy inspires cash-in, excuse me, tribute records. The January 28, 1986 explosion of Space Shuttle Challenger was no exception. This little slice of my home town memories is a tribute record by Chris Baxter, a member of the Anniston, Alabama bar band Southern Tradition. This recording comprised both the A and B sides of this, Baxter's first and last record release. Baxter was last heard from in 1993 with his tribute to fallen NASCAR driver Davey Allison, but I believe that was only available on cassette.
