Joy Allan-Wilsher - Nut Pumpkin
Joy sent a copy of her stunning CD [and cassette] for airplay on Sydney Metro radio, one listen to this cemented her a place in the 'never to be forgotten' archives of my heart.
The release came replete with commedations from various local church and nursing home groups, testifying that Joy had actually sung for them on the odd occasion. No actual comment as to the quality of the performance.
This self penned ditty has been the debate of many a dinner party as to the meaning, especially the line "a bean is a bean and not a nut pumpkin".
