In the world of Organ Grinder records there are many misses, but this album by Chris Anderson (who appears to prefer to just be called "Chris" as his stage name) gets me dancing around and tapping my toes. He'd make Lenny Dee mighty proud with his take on this classic song. The LP is a vanity pressing (no date, but I'm guessing from the late 70's) and features Chris on the Hammond Console Series 2300 and Model B-3 Organs.
Here's the text from the back cover of the album,

Some info on Chris... from Holland, Michigan. Chris played at a night club
in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1974-75, made the album about that time. I heard
he was something called "National Touring Artist" for Hammond.
My group of friends and I went to hear Chris play several times a week during
his gig at the Pit Stop Lounge in Kalamazoo (1974-75ish). We also made several
trips to see him play at the Sandy Pines Restaurant in Holland, Michigan
(more 1976). Chris lived in Holland with his parents. I think they owned
a marina. His brother Kurt played drums. Kurt was in the Coast Guard, lost
in Lake Michigan sometime between 1974 and 1978. Chris was so much fun!!!
A great personality on and off stage. There are several more copies of his
record around, because everyone in our group bought one. I still have mine.

with a copy of that Chris record. Heck, I thought there only
was one copy. Me, I'd have digitized "Goofus," but
I'm not gonna split hairs, ya know? We may now behold the
wondrous birth of the Official Chris Fan Club, only 25 years
after he released his Magnum Opus.

Holy shit! I have that record too. I bought it at the Salvation Army Thrift
Store in Topeka, KS. I used to work at a bar in Lawrence, KS that had a turntable
behind the bar. The bartender had control of the music all night. Occasionally
I would throw Chris on, if the right people were there, you know, the ones
who could appreciate his artistic genius. I am glad you included the blurb
from the cover. That is one of the reasons why I bought the record in the
first place.
