H/er name is credited on over 200 releases, and s/he remains one of the most influential musicians in experimental, noise, industrial, and psychedelic music. P-orridge was likewise seen as an iconic figure who was one of the first artists to question, bend, and ultimately rupture normative gender structure. A true revolutionary, P-Orridge spent h/er artistic career as a champion for identity that transcends all biological constructs, values that fly in the face of traditional Western philosophy, and above all, pure, primal creativity.
