At the end of the Second World War, artists and documentary filmmakers got involved in experimental filmmaking. The Danish state subsidized experimental films in the years 1947-50, which gave the movement additional strength. This anthology contains thirteen core works of Danish experimental film. The primary focus is on the internationally significant years around 1950.
