SOSW BALLET is an experimental film that revolves around the creation of discourse through movement. Created by Anna Gaskell, the short film is choreographed and performed by the children of the Special School of Podgorki (SOSW) in Poland, a 40-year-old academy and boarding school for children ages eight to 18, some with mild to severe learning disorders. In SOSW BALLET, dance becomes a means of challenging barriers to communication.
