Aeister Crowley – The Other Loch Ness Monster is a 2000 BBC Scotland documentary examining Aleister Crowley’s Loch Ness home, Boleskine House, later bought by Jimmy Page, although he never lived in it. Boleskine House was the setting for many of Crowley’s rituals of magick, including the abramelin ritual, through which he eventually contacted his guardian angel, Lucifer. Crowley describes bringing an oppressive darkness into his Boleskine House when preparing this ritual, however he did not complete it in the house, but years later in Egypt. It’s believed that because he broke this ritual, the dark forces summoned remained in the house, and brought supernatural activity to the house and the area. Some people even speculate that the Loch Ness Monster could be connected to Crowley in some way, a supernatural creature trolling its deep waters.
