TERRY ATKINSON      MICHAEL BALDWIN

Key:

1

Group of related properties (conjoined "&")

2 – 5

Four part disjunction of related properties (four components)

6

"Extreme" of group of related properties (conjoined)

7, 8

Disjunction of "extremes"

9

"Intermediates" of group (conjoined)

10, 11

Disjunction of "Intermediates"

12

Relational predicate "warmer". Although it appears on separate sheet, it would be senseless to see it either conjoined or disjoined with adjacents — so a careful gimmick would be gratuitous. (that is: up to now, the "space between the sheets" has meant "or" — here it can't — so the syntax is shown).

13 – 18

Six part disjunction — each of two components — the top one with a higher "subscript" than the bottom one. The last disjunction contains the relevant elements for a definition of the relational predicate (that is: when each term has a thing to describe) (or in the case of "warmer", a relation between things, states, etc.)
